About Ron

Hello, my name is Ron Williams, and I am the owner of The Brothers that just do Gutters of Owensboro. In addition to my 20 years of experience in the education sector (as a teacher, coach, and administrator), I have spent the past six years honing my franchising skills at the various snack food franchises I purchased 6 years ago. Starting “small businesses” (lemonade stands, paper routes, etc.) at a young age and continuing throughout my youth have provided me with invaluable experience in my chosen field.

I manage the Owensboro professional staff and contribute to the company’s overall strategic direction. I take great pride in consistently exceeding the expectations of our clients and generating tangible results for the company. It is crucial to me that I contribute to the Owensboro offices and the team’s success in reaching their financial goals.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my wife of 27 years, Tammy, and our three amazing children. Because I think it’s crucial to make a positive difference in the world, I also devote a lot of my free time to serving on local boards and volunteering at our church.

How It All Began

In 1999, Ken Parsons started his own gutter contractor company named Waterfall Seamless Gutters after leaving the teaching industry. In 2002, Ken’s younger brother, Ryan Parsons, joined him on the truck after the graphic design company he was working for crashed. The two brothers worked together for several years, and in 2006, they changed their company name to Water-flow Gutter Solutions before finally becoming “The Brothers that just do Gutters” in 2009. The name change came from a radio ad the brothers ran a couple of years prior, which was so well-liked that people thought it was the company name. Ken and Ryan decided to adopt the name, and with the name change came a few title changes as well. They no longer wanted to be known as salesmen, presidents, or owners but rather Solutionists©, which embodied what they represent to their clients. Ken Parsons was re-entitled Senior Solutionist©, and Ryan Parsons became Chief Solutionist©.
